I'm so glad this didn't happen otherwise I would have been very upset that my sister didn't go to graduation.

After James Franco bailed on being UCLA's commencement speaker, the graduating class thought they found a back-up -- but the guy they picked is just a lil' too busy these days.

Almost 2,000 students signed up for a Facebook group dedicated to securing L.A.'s newest famous resident Conan O'Brien to replace Franco. But in an extremely polite statement to the students, Conan says he won't be able to fill Franco's shoes -- because he's too busy filling Leno's:

"I am honored to be asked but I am so busy launching "The Tonight Show" there just is not enough time to give this speech the preparation it deserves. I wish everyone in the class of 2009 the best and I am honored that they thought of me.""

My life has hit a new low. I scheduled my whole day around the Oprah show. Kirstie Alley is going to apologize for gaining weight again. I'm so excited. *sigh*

This never ends. I just talked to Michelle and she told me some interesting stories. Apparently her and Amanda talked this morning about the whole moving situation. She asked her why she needs to move. No clear answer. Then the topic went to me. It seems that my lovely Amanda thinks that I lied to her (and her mom's) face when I told her I wasn't planning on moving. Lied? Really? When I told them I wasn't going to move it was when I WASN'T GOING TO MOVE. Things came up and I am trying to be nice and gentle here which doesn't seem to make a difference. I could have just as easily told her "fuck you I'm moving" and she would have had the same reaction. Here's the kicker she's also mad at me because I didn't offer to pay for her moving out expenses including the fines we might receive here. Well did I tell her to move? No. I even offered more than once to find her room mates. By moving she sealed OUR fates. I'm just as screwed over as she is. I never told her she had to move. She made that decision on her own. I am so done trying to be sensitive to her feelings. The gloves are off.

I did something really out of character tonight. I added one of those dating applications on facebook. This one guy messaged me. I think I'm in love. Too bad he lives in France. He makes me feel like the most gorgeous gal in the world. I haven't felt that way in ages.

I voted for the first time in my life. It was simply amazing. I met an old lady whose mom was one of the first women who got to vote in the United States. I am so proud to have voted FOR Barack Obama and AGAINST prop 8 and 4. Hopefully everyone else did as well. Oh and I got two free coffees out of it at Starbucks.

Berkeley was fun. Michelle and I were bored so we decided to have a little adventure. We started off by getting those surprise keychains from Urban Outfitters. I got a pizza and she got a cute orange. Then we had lunch, coffee, and a fake picnic at the hobo park with a friend from high school. I'd say it was a successful day.

Here's a little life lesson, never trust people on the internet. I am selling one of my ipod's on craigslist and within an hour I got a reply from a guy interested in buying it from me. After a few e-mails he agreed to the $40 and offered to pay $20 more for shipping (to NY). I found this kind of fishy but I still decided to go along with it. He then sent me a fake PayPal confirmation and an email saying that he gave me the money and that I need to send the iPod asap. Since I've been scammed before I decided to do a little investigating. First of all, I checked my Paypal account and found that no one posted money to my account. Surprise surprise. So I went back to the e-mail and noticed that the sender was not PayPal but a fake yahoo account. I was ticked off so I sent him an angry email basically telling him to get a life. Then I decided that wasn't enough so I filed a complaint with the government. Now I feel like a total badass. Go me!

If I don't get this job on Saturday I might jump off a cliff or hang myself.

UPDATE: I got the job, looks like I don't have to kill myself.

I've been watching Project Runway this past week. For the most part I've jumped around between the latter seasons but I decided to start watching Season 1 last night. I was a little scared because I thought it was going to be horrible. I'm really surprised and happy that the show has been pretty consistent in format since the beginning. Nina Garcia was much bitch-ier though. Bravo, Project Runway, Bravo.

Correction: Princess Consuela Bananahammock is in fact a mouse and not a rat. I'm very embarrassed.

I got a rat yesterday! Her name is Princess Consuela Bananahammock, Princess for short. She hasn't gotten used to me yet...I'm hoping that will change in the next week or so. I must admit she's getting better. Yesterday she'd freak out if I even tried to put my hand in her cage. Today she lets me touch her for a second or so.

In other news my internet over here is complete shit. We're trying to get a hold of Comcast but they're not being very helpful.

This story has no point but I'm going to tell it anyways. So maybe two or three weeks ago I went to deposit a check at a Bank of America in Westwood. The lady said I was eligible to upgrade to some new savings account that would give me a higher interest. I said "sure sign me up!"..except not in those exact words. Little did I know that I was going to get a new debit card out of this. This week I received a brand new card. Funny thing is, I'm guessing she assumed what kind of card I wanted, because I got a pink hello kitty card. Now I hope I don't offend anyone but just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I like Hello Kitty for god's sake. Ugh it pisses me off. I hope my other card is still valid. The number is the same...

Job

I got a job at Arclight today. Sadly I already hate it. It seems like they want to brainwash us into "wanting" instead of "having" to clean up popcorn off the floor. That's never going to happen. Also, I have to work all weekends which is going to kill my already bland social life. Now my life is going to revolve around school and work. I guess this is a horrible step to adulthood.

Wow,

I have NEVER felt so alone in my whole life. Ever. I pretty much have no friends which I'm fine with half the time but the other half I wish someone out there gave a shit about me. Go figure, I guess I deserve it.
